facility operating as a semi-autonomous unit within the School of
Optometry at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Upon gaining University Senate approval, the CCLR was established
in May, 1988. |

 IER - The Institute for Eye Research - Australia
The Institute for Eye Research Limited (IER) is an Australian company
dedicated to the advancement of eyecare research, education and
industry. For over almost 20 years the IER has contributed to some
of the best in Australian eyecare, and has grown to be a major
participant and supporter of Australian eyecare research and education
organisations. Established in 1985, the IER is a non-profit oirganisation,
incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 1998. |

Vision CRC has created a unique worldwide collaboration to deliver
business growth and better eyecare for Australia and the world,
by developing breakthrough technology and products for the correction
of myopia and presbyopia; delivering innovative education programs
at all levels of the eyecare industry; and developing models which
provide effective, affordable, and sustainable eyecare delivery
to communities in need.
